What is an Envelope Result?

Envelope result is a CAE result which represents maximum or minimum of all load cases for all nodes.

How to Create Envelope Results?

  1. Click CAE | Result List… or click the result list icon image1 to open the CAE Results dialog

  1. Select a CAE result from the list box.

  2. Click Create | Max Envelope Instance

    Or Click Create | Min Envelope Instance

  1. A message will be shown after successful creation.

  1. Select the new instance from the drop down instance list.

  1. Model contour is updated for the selected envelope instance.
